TFWP High-Wage Stream — 2026 LMIA Strategy
The High-Wage stream is for employers who want to hire foreign workers for positions where the wage being offered is at or above the provincial/territorial median hourly wage + 20%.
Current 2026 Thresholds (Sample):
- Quebec: .62 / hour
- Ontario: .00 / hour
- British Columbia: .60 / hour
If your job offer meets these levels, you must submit a Transition Plan to IRCC, explaining how you intend to reduce your reliance on foreign workers over time.
