Saskatchewan is a key pillar of Canada’s agriculture and energy sectors. In 2026, the SINP introduced a landmark ‘Three-Tier System’ to ensure stable talent pools for critical industries.
🛑 2026 Fee Adjustment Notice
Effective April 1, 2026, the following fees apply to SINP applicants:
- Application Fee: All worker categories adjusted to $500 CAD.
- Review Fee: A second review request for ineligible decisions now costs $250 CAD.
I. The 2026 Three-Tier Selection System
- Tier 1: Priority Sectors: 50% of the allocation. Covers Healthcare, Agriculture, Mining, Manufacturing, Tech. Open year-round for overseas candidates.
- Tier 2: Capped Sectors: Hospitality, Trucking, Retail. Accessible only during 6 intake windows per year.
